Flyper in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking an experienced Executive Chef for a part-time role to oversee all kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food and service for our guests.

You will lead a team, develop innovative menus, manage inventory and costs, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while collaborating with management on budgets. Fluency in English is required; Portuguese is a plus.

Evenings, weekends, and holidays availability is expected to accommodate guest demand.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards a common goal.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus).
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Create and develop menus that are innovative, fresh, and in line with current culinary trends.
• Oversee all food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to create budgets for food costs and labor expenses.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings.
