Rumos Group in Porto is seeking an Application Packaging Engineer to join our IT operations team. You will perform packaging and integration work, ensure qualification, testing, compatibility, and compliance.

The role requires PowerShell scripting expertise, experience with MSI and enterprise tools such as MECM and Intune, PSADT, and a strong command of English.

You will contribute to DevOps‑oriented automation and support ongoing modernization of software delivery across our client projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor-level education in IT or related field is preferred.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in similar roles.
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience and Windows environment knowledge.
• Experience with MSI packaging, MECM/Intune, and PSADT is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform application packaging and integration, ensuring qualification, testing, compatibility, and compliance;
• Provide technical support throughout the application lifecycle, from qualification to production;
• Execute testing and validation to ensure correct operation of applications and updates;
• Promote automation and industrialization of packaging processes following a DevOps approach;
• Automate and optimize application delivery processes and administrative tasks;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of packaging, integration, and application management processes;
• Participate in convergence, modernization, and transformation projects adapting applications to modern management techniques;
• Participate in implementing DevOps practices, automating build and deployment processes and maintaining a modern App Store.

Descrição da oferta de emprego

• Higher education in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field (preferred);
• Professional experience in similar roles, ideally 2–3 years;
• Strong experience in PowerShell scripting;
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop environments;
• Experience with Windows Installer (MSI) technology;
• Knowledge of packaging methods, MECM, Intune, and scripting tools, namely PowerShell;
• Experience with PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT);
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow;
• Knowledge of packaging process automation and implementation of industrialization solutions (considered an advantage);
• Knowledge of DevOps practices applied to application management, integration, and deployment (considered an advantage);
• Fluency in English;
• Good organizational, priority management, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to adapt to demanding and dynamic environments.
