Main Responsibilities:
- Package and integrate Windows applications for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments, ensuring compatibility, compliance, and quality standards.
- Receive application packaging requests, validate prerequisites, and collaborate closely with product and application managers throughout the packaging lifecycle.
- Build silent and interactive installation packages, performing installation and validation testing before delivering them for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide technical support across all packaging stages, including qualification, pilot, and production environments.
- Contribute to the maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement of application packages.
- Promote packaging automation by implementing modern deployment solutions and adopting a DevOps mindset.
- Automate and orchestrate packaging delivery processes, streamlining administrative and operational tasks.
- Participate in modernization and convergence initiatives, helping improve application deployment, management, and software delivery practices.
- Support the implementation of DevOps practices to automate application build and deployment processes, increasing reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance a modern, user-friendly application store while continuously improving packaging processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar Application Packaging or Packaging Engineer role.
- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting.
- Solid experience with Windows desktop environments and Windows Server.
- Good knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI) technology.
- Experience with application packaging tools such as MECM, Intune, and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT).
- Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- Good level of English (minimum B2).
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively within a team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Knowledge of application deployment automation and orchestration.
- Experience with modern Windows management technologies.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management and software distribution best practices.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and continuous optimization.
- Client-oriented approach with strong adaptability and willingness to learn.
