Job summary

emagine is seeking a mid-level OutSystems Developer to join a support and evolutive development team in Lisbon. You will own a production application, fix incidents quickly, and ship improvements that enhance stability and user experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on OutSystems development experience.
• Experience supporting live applications under SLAs.
• Proficient in REST/SOAP web services and SQL databases.
• Understanding of OutSystems architecture and performance best practices.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve incidents and bugs in existing OutSystems applications, keeping downtime and business impact to a minimum.
• Design and build new features and enhancements based on business requirements.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and propose fixes that prevent them from coming back.
• Monitor application performance and health, and act on issues before they become incidents.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation, including architecture notes and support runbooks.
• Participate in code reviews and apply OutSystems best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Manage integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases, third-party services).
• Work within SLA-driven support processes, prioritising tickets by severity and business impact.
• Collaborate with product owners and the wider delivery team on sprint planning and backlog refinement.
