Job summary

act digital in Lisbon is seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to design, develop and maintain applications on the OutSystems platform. You will translate business requirements into robust solutions and collaborate with a development team to deliver high quality software.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, IT or computer science, at least 3 years of OutSystems experience, a solid understanding of software development principles, and English level B2 or higher.

• Solid hands-on experience using the OutSystems platform.
• Good understanding of software development principles and best practices.

• OutSystems certifications are a strong plus.
• English level B2 or above.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into robust and efficient OutSystems solutions.
• Develop new features and functionalities according to project requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing OutSystems applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues in a timely and structured manner.
• Participate in the different stages of the software development lifecycle, from development and testing through to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other developers and project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
• Ensure that developed solutions follow established development standards, best practices and quality guidelines.
• Perform testing and validation of developed functionalities to ensure reliability and expected behaviour.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, processes and development practices.
• Support the integration and evolution of OutSystems solutions according to project needs.
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
• Keep up to date with OutSystems features, capabilities and development best practices.
