Vodafone Group Plc is seeking a 2nd line Operations engineer to support OSS tools in a multi-vendor environment. You will troubleshoot incidents, monitor health checks, and contribute to process improvements while coordinating with NOC and other service delivery teams.

The role requires Linux experience, virtualization exposure, and ITIL-aligned practices; strong English language skills are essential. A hybrid work model is offered with local/international collaboration opportunities.

Qualificações

• University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science.
• Ability to create technical instructions/procedures and provide 2nd level support for OSS applications.
• Knowledge of Linux OS, application/database administration, and telecom protocols.
• Support service request fulfillment and system/software rollouts.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESX, Microsoft Azure).
• Applying ITIL-aligned operational practices including role/access management and change/release standards.

Responsabilidades

• Administer provisioning and monitoring platforms, plus critical OSS applications.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement corrective actions with 3rd party support as needed.
• Perform daily monitoring and health checks; contribute to incident detection and system optimization.
• Participate in projects, process improvements, and configuration verification.
• Interact with technical staff, NOC engineers, and other Service Delivery teams; manage tickets and routing.
