Job summary

Act Digital in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist to lead data integration initiatives. You will design and implement complex ETL/ELT processes and work with Oracle databases to optimize performance in regulatory reporting contexts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Information Systems, 5+ years ODI experience, fluency in Portuguese and English, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in a hybrid

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Solid experience with Oracle databases, including performance optimization of data integration processes.
• Strong understanding of data integration architectures and complex data integration solutions.
• Experience working with XML, XSD, JSON, CSV, XBRL and other regulatory data formats.
• Experience with regulatory reporting to ESMA and knowledge of at least one of the following regulatory frameworks: ESAP, MiCA or DORA.
• Experience analysing, designing and implementing complex data integration solutions.
• Ability to lead technical analysis, perform estimations and define appropriate technical solutions.
• Experience in application support, corrective maintenance and evolutionary maintenance.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting systems and integration architectures.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of autonomy and results orientation.
• Experience working in critical production environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) and Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Data Quality Frameworks is a plus.
• Experience integrating with OutSystems applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of Axway Gateway, Navigator and Secure Relay, as well as SFTP/FTP, is a plus.
• Oracle certifications are a plus.
• Fluent Portuguese and good technical English.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon.

• Develop and maintain integrations involving regulatory formats such as XML, XSD, JSON, CSV and XBRL.
• Lead technical analysis, solution design, effort estimation and technical decision-making for integration initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure the implementation of appropriate integration patterns and best practices.
• Analyse performance issues and implement optimization strategies across ODI and Oracle-based integration processes.
• Support application maintenance activities, including corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in critical production environments.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, infrastructure, data and business teams to ensure successful delivery of integration solutions.
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of integration architectures and regulatory reporting systems.
• Ensure solutions comply with technical, functional and regulatory requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to data quality and metadata management initiatives where required, including the use of EDQ, OEMM and Data Quality Frameworks.
• Support integrations with external systems and technologies, including OutSystems, Axway and SFTP/FTP, where applicable.
• Ensure the reliability, maintainability and performance of implemented solutions throughout their lifecycle.
