Job summary

act digital in Lisbon is seeking a data integration professional with ODI expertise to design, implement and optimize ODI-based data flows for regulatory reporting in the financial sector.

You will develop and maintain ODI processes, analyze requirements, and ensure data integrity across sources, formats (XML/CSV/JSON) and databases. Strong English skills and a hybrid Lisbon work model are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with ODI.
• Professional experience developing data integration and transformation processes.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of data modelling and data quality concepts.
• Experience analysing and resolving technical issues related to data integration processes.
• Knowledge of XML, CSV and JSON data formats.
• Ability to understand and interpret functional and technical documentation.
• Interest in working with data integration and regulatory reporting environments.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical and business requirements.
• Strong sense of responsibility and focus on quality and reliability.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database is a plus.
• Good knowledge of technical English.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data integration and transformation processes using ODI.
• Analyse technical and functional requirements and translate them into ODI solutions.
• Develop integration workflows connecting different data sources and systems.
• Work with relational databases and SQL to support data extraction, transformation and integration processes.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of regulatory reporting solutions within the financial sector.
• Work with structured data formats such as XML, CSV and JSON.
• Analyse, investigate and resolve technical issues affecting data integration processes.
• Support the testing, validation and deployment of ODI processes and integrations.
• Ensure that developed solutions meet defined technical, functional and quality requirements.
• Apply data modelling and data quality principles throughout the development process.
• Collaborate with technical teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate integration solutions.
• Review functional and technical documentation and ensure correct implementation of the required specifications.
• Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing ODI processes.
• Adapt to new regulatory, technical and business requirements as the project evolves.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities in data integration and regulatory reporting environments.
