World Courier de Portugal, Lda. is seeking an Operations & Logistics Specialist to coordinate shipments, manage warehouse activities and support transportation operations with a focus on time- and temperature-sensitive products.

You will work closely with customers, carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in logistics or related fields, a valid driver's license, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations or supply chain.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift certification or logistics-related certifications are a plus.
• Experience in coordinating shipments and warehouse activities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and monitor import and export shipments using internal transportation systems.
• Support shipment planning, routing and operational execution to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and provide shipment status updates.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, labels and customs-related paperwork.
• Handle, package and prepare shipments, including cold chain and temperature-controlled products.
• Manage warehouse inventory, packaging materials and temperature-control supplies.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries and transportation providers to ensure service excellence.
• Monitor shipment milestones, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and transportation regulations (IATA, ADR, GDP, etc.).
• Operate company vehicles and support collection and delivery activities when required.
• Maintain accurate operational records and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Position Summary

The Operations & Logistics Specialist plays a key role in coordinating shipments, managing warehouse activities and supporting transportation operations. This position ensures the seamless handling of time- and temperature-sensitive products through proactive planning, shipment monitoring and close collaboration with customers, carriers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Experience & Education
