Effisus is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Portugal-based Operations team. You will support warehouse and production activities, ensuring efficient handling, storage, preparation, and movement of materials while upholding quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in warehouse/logistics or production, forklift certification, strong organizational and communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualificações

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments.
  • Secondary education (12th Grade) or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Forklift certification and/or forklift operating experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to follow operational procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Experience with ERP or stock management software (PHC advantageous).

Responsabilidades

  • Execute production plans and warehouse operations efficiently.
  • Prepare and process customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Ensure the correct storage, organisation, and cleanliness of warehouse facilities.
  • Control the loading and unloading of materials, verifying quantities, origins, and destinations.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and warehouse facilities.
  • Identify and report operational issues, risks, and potential non-conformities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and productive working environment.

The Role

We are now looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Operations team in Portugal.

You will be responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, preparation, and movement of materials, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence. You will work closely with: Operations Teams, Production Teams, Logistics & Supply Chain Teams, Quality Management Teams, and External Transport Partners.

This role combines: Warehouse Operations, Production Support, Logistics Coordination, Inventory Management, Quality Assurance, Safety Compliance, and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a proactive and reliable professional with strong organisational skills and a hands‑on approach to warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments.
  • Secondary education (12th Grade) or an equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Forklift certification and/or proven forklift operating experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A high level of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • The ability to follow operational procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
  • Experience with ERP or stock management software (PHC is considered an advantage).
