We would like to meet an Operational Resilience & Business Continuity Consultant for a project in Lisbon.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) campaigns to identify critical business functions, dependencies, risks, and potential impacts of disruptions.
- Develop, maintain, test, and validate Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and recovery procedures.
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity frameworks.
- Contribute to Crisis Management activities, including crisis preparedness, response procedures, escalation processes, and crisis documentation.
- Identify resilience gaps and develop remediation and action plans to address identified risks and vulnerabilities.
- Prepare BIA materials, user guides, awareness content, reports, and presentations for business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to business continuity, crisis management, recovery solutions, operational resilience, and risk management.
- Support the organization of training and awareness initiatives covering business continuity, crisis management, cybersecurity risks, physical disruptions, and polycrisis scenarios.
- Maintain crisis contact directories, recovery solution catalogues, handbooks, and collaborative repositories for resilience-related documentation and best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams, business stakeholders, external partners, and service providers to ensure recovery solutions are documented and fit for purpose.
- Support resilience testing and exercises, documenting outcomes, lessons learned, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and continuously improve processes, documentation, training, and resilience capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Risk Management, Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Crisis Management, or a related field.
- Practical experience with Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Knowledge of Crisis Management principles, processes, and response frameworks.
- Experience developing, maintaining, testing, and validating Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
- Knowledge of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience identifying risks, resilience gaps, dependencies, and defining remediation or mitigation plans.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required;
- Professional working proficiency in portuguese and/or spanish is highly valued.
