Job summary

EPAM Systems in Portugal seeks an experienced OMS Delivery Lead to guide cross-functional teams on multi-region order-management transformations. You will own design, integration, and rollout across order lifecycle, inventory, returns, and fulfillment orchestration.

You will coordinate vendors, manage priorities, and mentor engineers while ensuring architectural standards and delivery governance for complex commerce programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software-engineering or commerce-platform experience with OMS delivery.
• Proven leadership in complex order-management implementations.
• Strong ecommerce integration knowledge and patterns.
• Experience with marketplace, warehouse, and logistics OMS.
• Knowledge of order lifecycle, inventory orchestration, returns.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud principles.
• Experience with distributed teams and agile delivery.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall software‑engineering or commerce‑platform experience, including hands‑on OMS delivery work
• Proven background in leading or coordinating complex order‑management implementations
• Strong understanding of ecommerce ecosystems and integration patterns
• Experience implementing OMS solutions involving marketplace, warehouse, and logistics systems
• Knowledge of order lifecycle management, inventory orchestration, and returns processing
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud‑based architectural principles
• Experience working with distributed teams and agile delivery structures
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage delivery governance
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar discipline

Nice to have

• Experience with Fluent OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or other enterprise OMS solutions
• Familiarity with tax, invoice, and customer‑communication process flows
