Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a seasoned Machinery Condition Monitoring Engineer to support rotating equipment on FPSOs. You will analyze vibration and oil data, oversee the CBM program, and collaborate with offshore crews and onshore teams to prevent failures and extend equipment life.

Strong offshore experience, English communication, and proactive problem-solving are essential for this role. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in machinery condition monitoring.
• Experience with vibration data and oil analysis.
• Ability to troubleshoot and guide maintenance teams offshore.

Responsibilities

• Support Condition-Based Program for rotating equipment on SBM FPSOs.
• Review equipment conditions using vibration data, oil results and key operating data.
• Manage vibration and oil analysis data and consolidate third-party inputs.
• Input actions in the CMMS and follow up on recommendations.
• Perform ongoing vibration analysis with Machinery Monitoring Systems.
• Set up pre-warnings and proactive alerts; prioritize repairs.
• Collaborate with Ops, Maintenance, and Region Planners for repairs.
• Provide history for root cause analysis and guidance to the support teams.
