Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals in Portugal is seeking an Officer, Shipping for a hybrid role. You will plan, prepare, and execute finished product shipments, coordinate with operations, quality, and warehouses, and liaise with transport providers and clients.

The profile requires a secondary high school diploma, invoicing experience, pharmaceutical logistics exposure, English proficiency, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Secondary High School diploma.
• Experience with invoicing and contact with the pharmaceutical industry.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in Logistics/Transportation of pharmaceutical products and GDP procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Good computer skills; Sage, Excel and Power BI is a plus.
• Friendly approach when working with colleagues, suppliers and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparation and execution of finished product shipments in accordance with internal procedures and client requirements.
• Follow-up with Operations, Quality Unit and warehouses to ensure adherence to the Shipping Plan.
• Liaison with transport service providers, brokers, steam lines and clients.
• Preparation, issuance and archiving of all related shipping documentation.
• Support internal departments with shipments of samples, components and equipment.
• Execution and follow-up of imports, including APIs, finished products, components, equipment and samples, in accordance with internal and compliance procedures.
• Archiving and tracking of all import documentation.
• Support EU teams by coordinating and organizing import and export shipments.
• Support CMO business by coordinating and organizing transport solutions and invoicing for multiple markets.

Hikma, intends to recruit a Officer, Shipping (m/f) for a hybrid position.

Main Responsibilities:
