Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals in Portugal is seeking an Officer, LIMS (m/f) to join the Quality Control Department on-site, reporting to the Sr. Supervisor, Quality Control. This role focuses on configuring and validating laboratory software to support accurate testing and compliant operations.

Key tasks include creating specifications in the software for raw materials and finished products, handling change controls in Ivanti, writing SOPs, and coordinating LIMS projects with the Columbus site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng/IS or related field.
• Experience with enterprise systems is required.
• Experience with LIMS/CDS/ELN is beneficial.
• Knowledge of GxP and Data Integrity desirable.
• Ability to work in a highly structured regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Introduce/create effective software specifications for materials, packaging, finished products, and stability samples.
• Create/update/validate analyses for laboratory use in the software.
• Resolve daily software issues for labs/users.
• Generate Change Control requests in Ivanti for new users.
• Write/review SOPs when requested.
• Manage LIMS projects in parallel with Columbus site.

Hikma, intends to recruit an Officer, LIMS (m/f) to integrate Quality Control Department, on-site work reporting to the Sr. Supervisor, Quality Control

Main Responsibilities

• Introduces / Creates on the software the effective specifications for raw materials, packaging material, finished products and stability samples used by the different laboratories.
• Creates / updates and validates new analysis necessary for laboratory use on the software.
• Solves daily issues, problems, and doubts on the software for the different laboratories / users.
• Generates Change Control requests on Ivanti system for new users requested.
• Writes / Review SOPs upon request.
• Manage LIMS projects in parallel with Columbus (COL) site.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• A background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or laboratory-related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in the administration and/or support of enterprise systems.
• Experience with LIMS, CDS, ELN, or other laboratory applications will be considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of GxP-regulated environments and Data Integrity principles is desirable.
• Experience in application management, database administration, and system integrations.
• Capability of working with others and as part of a team is essential
• Good problem-solving techniques is needed to make necessary adjustments and to prioritize tasks
• Exhibited ability to work in a highly structured regulated environment, including the capacity to follow directions, have attention to detail, meet deadlines and multi-task.
