Tecnimede Group in Portugal seeks an Occupational Health and Safety Technician (M/F) to ensure environmental, hygiene & safety, and sustainability requirements across operations (R&D Unit, Production Units, and Headquarters).

Responsibilities include implementing policies, training programs, audits, incident reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet quality and sustainability goals while complying with GDPR and data protection laws.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1–3 years of professional experience in environmental and safety roles.
• Solid knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) (preferred).
• Proven experience in industrial environments (pharmaceutical, chemical, or food) is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Implement policies, procedures, and practices to ensure environmental and safety compliance.
• Implement certification requirements for an integrated Quality, Environment, and Safety management system.
• Conduct regular environmental and safety audits to identify improvement areas and ensure standards compliance.
• Execute environmental and safety training programs to raise awareness and competence of teams.
• Prepare incident reports, investigate accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects meeting established quality standards.
• Participate in defining Quality and Sustainability goals and monitor progress toward those goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

We are currently strengthening our team with an Occupational Health and Safety Technician (M/F), who will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of environmental, hygiene & safety, and sustainability requirements associated with our operations (R&D Unit, Production Units, and Headquarters).

• Implement normative requirements for the certification of an integrated Quality, Environment, and Safety management system;
• Conduct regular environmental and safety audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with standards;
• Execute environmental and safety training programs to ensure teams are aware and empowered;
• Prepare incident reports, investigate accidents, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrences;
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered according to established quality standards;
• Participate in defining Quality and Sustainability goals and monitor progress toward those goals;
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Technical or higher education in Environmental Engineering or related fields;
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the field;
• Solid knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and standards - ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (preferred);
• Proven experience in environmental and safety roles, preferably in the industrial sector (pharmaceutical, chemical, and/or food).
