NX Open Developer / Mechanical Engineer – MCAD

Decskill, an IT consulting company with over 10 years in the market, is seeking a senior NX/NX Open engineer in Lisbon. You will develop and extend NX Open applications, customize MCAD workflows, and collaborate with international teams on mechanical design projects.

You will work in an environment that values curiosity and commitment, with opportunities for long-term international projects and technical growth across the Astek Group footprint in multiple countries.

Qualificações

• Senior-level experience with Siemens NX and NX Open.
• Strong programming skills in C# and .NET, with hands-on experience developing NX Open applications.
• Solid background in Mechanical Engineering and MCAD, including mechanical design, assemblies, drawings and PMI/drawingless design.
• Experience in customizing, automating and optimizing Siemens NX and related MCAD applications.
• Experience supporting MCAD application operations, ideally in an L2/Application Support environment.
• Good knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter / PLM / PDM systems.
• Experience with Teamcenter Visualization (TC Vis) or similar visualization tools is an advantage.
• Experience in designing and optimizing engineering workflows and processes within an MCAD/PLM environment.
• Ability to analyze business and engineering requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, incident and problem management, and coordinating solutions through to production deployment.
• Knowledge of Knowledge Fusion / Check-Mate for NX data quality and engineering validation is a plus.
• Experience with R&D processes, particularly in hardware and mechanical product development, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, engineers, developers and IT stakeholders.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Fluent English is required.
