Fyld in Lisbon is seeking a Senior DataCenter Network Engineer to design and evolve large-scale DataCenter infrastructures, with a strong focus on switching, perimeter security, automation and NetDevOps.

You will work in a hybrid model in Lisbon, collaborating with a team to implement scalable, secure, and observable data center networks using VXLAN/EVPN, BGP and spine-leaf architectures. Fluent Portuguese and English are required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in large-scale DataCenter environments.
• Strong experience in DataCenter Switching and routing.
• Experience with security networks and automation.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista or Juniper DC technologies.

Fyld is hiring: Senior DataCenter Engineer – Switching & Perimeter Security

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DataCenter Network Engineer to join a team focused on designing and evolving large-scale DataCenter infrastructures, with a strong focus on switching, perimeter security, automation and NetDevOps.

Your Profile:

• 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering, with at least 5 years in large-scale DataCenter environments
• Strong expertise in DataCenter Switching: VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, Spine-Leaf, MLAG/vPC and QoS
• Solid experience with perimeter security, next-generation firewalls, segmentation, VPNs and IDS/IPS
• Experience with Cisco, Arista and/or Juniper DataCenter technologies
• Strong Python skills and experience with Ansible, Git and CI/CD applied to network automation
• Knowledge of NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI and network telemetry
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon

Nice to have:

• Experience with DataCenter transformation projects and EVPN Multi-Site
• Knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortinet or Check Point
• Experience with Containerlab, GNS3 or other virtual network labs
• Certifications such as CCIE/CCNP Data Center, JNCIE/JNCIP, Arista ACE, PCNSE or equivalent
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers
