Fyld is hiring a Network Security Engineer with Fortinet expertise to secure enterprise networks in a Lisbon environment. You will work hands-on with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and related Fortinet components to design and implement robust security controls.

The role requires at least 3 years in network security, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and fluent English communication. We offer growth opportunities and continuous training within a collaborative culture.

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network security and infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, particularly FortiGate.
• Experience configuring and managing firewall policies, NAT, routing and security policies.

• Design, implement and maintain secure enterprise network architectures.
• Configure and manage Fortinet devices and policies to ensure optimal security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve network security posture across environments.

We’re looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong Fortinet expertise and hands‑on experience in enterprise network security environments.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, Information Technology, or a related field


• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network security and infrastructure


• Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet solutions, particularly FortiGate


• Experience configuring and managing firewall policies, NAT, routing and security policies


• Experience with VPN technologies, including IPsec and SSL VPN


• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and network troubleshooting


• Experience with network security concepts such as segmentation, access control and secure connectivity


• Experience with FortiManager and centralized firewall management


• Familiarity with FortiAnalyzer and security/event monitoring


• Experience with Fortinet Secure SD‑WAN is valued


• Experience integrating security solutions with enterprise network environments


• Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and security issues


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills


• Good documentation and communication skills


• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders


• Fluency in English

Nice to Have:

• Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) – Network Security


• Experience with FortiSwitch, FortiAP or FortiAuthenticator


• Knowledge of FortiNAC or FortiSIEM


• Experience with high‑availability FortiGate environments


• Knowledge of automation using APIs, Python or Ansible
