Extia is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join its cybersecurity team. You will configure firewall rules on Fortigate/Palo Alto, monitor network traffic for anomalies, and implement security best practices across a 3-tier environment.

You will troubleshoot security issues, apply microsegmentation, manage NAT rules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support incident resolution. English communication is essential, with French as a plus.

Qualificações

• Proven experience with Fortigate and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including microsegmentation and NAT.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, ports, protocols, and proxy configurations.
• Experience in troubleshooting and securing complex network environments.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French is a plus).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a global, cross-functional team.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain firewall rules and policies on Fortigate and/or Palo Alto platforms.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify anomalies and ensure adherence to secure communication protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security issues related to ports, protocols, and proxy configurations.
• Implement microsegmentation strategies within 3-tier architecture environments.
• Configure and manage NAT rules to control IP address translation and traffic flow.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to support incident resolution and policy updates.
• Document configuration changes, procedures, and network diagrams.
• Work with ticketing systems (ServiceNow experience is a plus) for issue tracking and resolution.
