Hexa Consulting is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support operational security infrastructure in the banking sector. The role focuses on run activities, firewall policy management, network segmentation and secure production operations in a hybrid working model.

You will maintain security infrastructures, analyze incidents, implement and optimize security policies, and ensure compliance with IT security and quality standards.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of experience in network security, security infrastructure operations or firewall policy management.
• Experience with network or microsegmentation technologies and firewall rule implementation.
• Experience in IT production environments, including requests, incidents, changes and operational documentation.
• Professional working proficiency in English and either Portuguese or French.
• A responsible, collaborative and solution-oriented approach to operational support and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in hybrid environments with clear communication, service awareness and attention to quality.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the operational maintenance of security infrastructures with a focus on quality, productivity and security.
• Analyze incidents, malfunctions and traffic flow blockages to identify root causes and restore expected service behavior.
• Implement, maintain and optimize security policies across firewall and network segmentation environments.
• Propose improvements to security rules, policy lifecycle practices and operational procedures.
• Define and apply best practices for security policy management, documentation and change execution.
• Provide technical expertise, guidance, support, training and alerts related to network security topics.
• Collaborate with experts from other technical domains to support secure and reliable service delivery.
• Verify compliance with applicable IT security, quality and operational standards.
• Maintain the expected level of service quality in line with agreed service requirements and SLAs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 24,000 - EUR 32,000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 40,000/year

The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
