team.it is seeking a senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot security architectures across enterprise networks. Candidates should excel with F5 BIG-IP and major firewall platforms, plus experience with secure web proxies, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and Azure networking.

The role requires strong scripting (Python), REST APIs, Ansible, and Git, along with ITIL and Agile delivery experience. Hybrid Lisbon location and English (B2+) required.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network security, application delivery, or perimeter infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, iRules, SSL Offload) administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong firewall expertise: Palo Alto PAN-OS, Check Point, Fortinet FortiGate.
• Experience with Symantec/Broadcom ProxySG web proxies.
• Solid Infoblox DDI knowledge (DNS/DHCP/IPAM/RPZ).
• Advanced networking: VLANs, VRF, NAT, BGP, IPsec/SSL VPN, TCP/IP.
• Troubleshooting app delivery and traffic across L4-L7.
• Azure networking: VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute.
• Automation with Python, REST APIs, Ansible; Git for versioning.
• ITIL processes and Agile delivery experience.

Network Security Engineer - Is that you?

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) Experience Level: Senior Language: English (minimum B2)

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network security, application delivery, or perimeter infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, iRules, SSL Offload) administration and troubleshooting.
• Solid expertise managing enterprise firewall platforms including Palo Alto PAN-OS, Check Point, and Fortinet FortiGate.
• Experience administering secure web proxy solutions such as Symantec/Broadcom ProxySG (Blue Coat).
• Strong knowledge of Infoblox DDI, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and RPZ management.
• Advanced understanding of networking technologies including VLANs, VRF, NAT, BGP, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience troubleshooting application delivery and network traffic across Layers 4 to 7.
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking services including VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
• Proficiency in automation and integration using Python, REST APIs, and Ansible.
• Experience with version control and infrastructure management using Git.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience supporting critical enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with F5 BIG-IP GTM/DNS, ASM, APM, and AS3.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with centralized management platforms including Panorama, FortiManager, Check Point MDS, or Check Point VSX.
• Experience with Source of Truth platforms such as Nautobot or NetBox.
• Knowledge of financial services or other highly regulated environments.
• French language skills (A2 level or higher).
• Industry certifications such as F5 Certified (301/401), Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, or Fortinet NSE 4+.
