Siemens Portugal Tech Hub offers an internship in Lisbon area to work on networking and security projects within a cross-functional team. You will help design network architectures for on-premises and cloud environments, implement Zero Trust access, monitor traffic, and support automation of security controls.

You will gain exposure to enterprise-grade technologies and processes, mentored by experienced engineers, contributing to safer and more efficient networks across the business.

The main activities where the intern may be involved are:

• Network Architecture
• Design on-premises and cloud network architectures
• Zero Trust access with Zscaler and EntraID
• User endpoint security
• Monitoring and tracking of external / outbound connections
• Ingres/Egress traffic visibility dashboard
• Baseline and anomaly detection for network flows
• Automation
• Automate network security controls as code (IaC): registry of perimeter network connections, reconciliation and analyses
• Automated reporting and compliance checks
