Claranet Limited is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our talent team in a role focused on designing and implementing robust security controls. You will evaluate cybersecurity solutions, protect network infrastructure, and lead security hardening across data center environments.

The role requires 4+ years in cybersecurity engineering, strong knowledge of network protocols, and hands-on firewall experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, or Fortinet, along with Linux and Windows Server

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree as specified in the requirements.
• Minimum 4 years experience in cybersecurity engineering roles or similar.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and managing cybersecurity risks.
• Experience in technology risk management.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with firewall solutions such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, or similar.
• Experience working with Linux and Windows Server operating systems in a security-focused environment.
• Leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement security controls across NOS environments.
• Evaluate and test cybersecurity solutions to determine the best fit for the company's needs and context.
• Ensure the security of network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, data center security solutions, NDR, SASE, and related technologies.
• Validate configurations and perform hardening of data center systems.
• Assess and implement additional requirements in existing solutions, including new functionalities, continuous improvements, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with different NOS business areas to identify, assess, and characterize technologies and their associated cybersecurity risks.
• Manage projects and produce the necessary documentation to support project tracking and implementation.
• Produce technical documentation for tested and implemented solutions, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity technologies, market trends, and threat landscapes.
• Align internal cybersecurity strategy with industry best practices and technologies that enhance visibility and risk mitigation capabilities.
• Communicate cybersecurity risks, mitigation measures, and technology recommendations to stakeholders.
• Contribute, when required, to the cybersecurity incident management process.

Youmust have:

• Strong knowledge of network protocols.
  
• Hands-on experience with firewall solutions suchas Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, or similar.
  
• Experience working with Linux and Windows Serveroperating systems in a security-focused environment.
