Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to design and build automation for campus, WAN, Data Center, DDI, and Secure Access platforms using declarative data models, APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

You will implement version-controlled engineering workflows with automated testing, policy checks, and safe change management while collaborating with network architects, SRE, operations, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking including routing, switching, IP services.
• Hands-on with Python and APIs, plus automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, Nornir.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable automation for campus, WAN, Data Center, DDI, and Secure Access platforms using IaC and APIs.
• Establish version-controlled workflows with peer review, automated testing, policy checks, change validation, rollback and config-compliance.
