act digital is seeking a Network Automation Engineer in Porto to design, build and maintain end-to-end automation across multi-vendor networks. The role focuses 70% on automation development and 30% on network and security expertise, delivering scalable infrastructure as code.

You will develop production-grade automation frameworks using Ansible and Python, build reusable components, and integrate with NetBox, Infoblox, JIRA and GitLab, while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and robust testing.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Ansible for Network Automation.
• Experience building reusable automation frameworks, not only standalone scripts.
• Knowledge of Jinja2, YAML/JSON, Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with network APIs/protocols such as NETCONF, RESTCONF or gNMI.
• Solid networking fundamentals: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP and LACP.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop production-grade automation frameworks using Ansible and Python.
• Build reusable Ansible roles, collections, modules and plugins.
• Develop Python libraries and automation workflows using tools such as Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM and PyEZ.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration changes, validation, compliance and rollback.
• Integrate automation workflows with NetBox, Infoblox, JIRA, GitLab and APIs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Implement automated testing, drift detection, configuration backups and reporting.
• Work across multi-vendor environments including Juniper, Arista, Cisco and Fortinet.
