Event Staffing in Lisbon is seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator for a part-time role. The candidate will monitor networks, configure equipment, manage security, and ensure system reliability.

The job includes user management, data backups, and collaboration on solutions for complex IT issues. Requirements include 2+ years in this role, expertise in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPNs, Windows/Linux servers, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of experience in a Network and Systems Administrator role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configurations and VPNs.
• Experience with server OS (Windows/Linux) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of cloud services AWS/Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and ability to communicate technical info clearly.

We are in search of a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Lisbon

This is a part-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues


• Install configure and maintain network equipment such as routers switches firewalls


• Administer user accounts permissions and access rights on the network


• Manage network security measures to protect against cyber threats


• Perform regular backups of data to ensure data integrity


• Ensure the smooth operation of all computer systems including hardware software and applications


• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise


• Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop solutions for complex network or system issues


• Stay updated on new technologies and make recommendations for system upgrades or improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role at least 2 years


• Strong knowledge of networking protocols TCPIP LANWAN configurations and virtual private networks VPNs


• Experience with server operating systems WindowsLinux and server virtualization technologies VMwareHyper-V


• Knowledge of cloud-based services AWSAzure is a plus


• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices is preferred


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure


• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical individuals
