Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as Network and Systems Administrator.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP knowledge.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 proficiency.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Backup solutions knowledge (Veeam/Acronis preferred).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix is a plus.
• Contract position with visa sponsorship available.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Porto Portugal.

As a vital member of our IT department you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our network infrastructure and systems to ensure their smooth operation. You will also be involved in implementing new technologies, troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to our employees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network outages and connectivity issues
• Install configure and maintain network hardware and software
• Manage user accounts permissions email anti-virus software and other security measures
• Maintain backups of critical data and implement disaster recovery plans
• Coordinate with vendors for purchasing hardware software and services
• Provide technical support to internal users for hardware software and network related issues
• Monitor system usage and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades
• Create documentation for network configurations processes procedures and policies

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
• Strong knowledge of TCPIP networking protocols including DNS DHCP SMTP
• Experience with Cisco routersswitchesfirewalls or similar networking equipment
• Proficient in Windows Server environment 200820122016
• Experience with virtualization technologies VMwareHyper-V
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex problems quickly
• Experience with backup solutions VeeamAcronis is preferred
• Knowledge of LinuxUnix operating systems is a plus

This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
