Job summary

Match Profiler is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join the internal development team in Portugal. The role focuses on evolving digital platforms and business support systems using microservices on Azure, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a Scrum environment.

You will design, develop, and maintain REST APIs with C#/.NET, contribute to architecture decisions, and drive CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps while mentoring junior developers. Hybrid work in Lisbon is available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with C# / .NET in real projects.
• Experience with .NET 8 or higher; familiarity with .NET 10 is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core Web API and EF Core.
• Experience in microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on Azure experience (Service Bus, Functions, App Service, Monitoring).
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git.
• Ability to write unit/integration tests and perform code reviews.
• Experience in Scrum teams and delivering in sprints.
• Nice to have: React, Docker, AKS, Azure Container Apps; health/insurance or banking sector familiarity.

We are recruiting a Senior .NET Developer to join the internal development team of a leading health plan provider in Portugal. The team is growing and works on evolving digital platforms and business support systems in a microservices architecture on Azure.

• Design, develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs in C# / .NET 10
• Participate in technical and architecture decisions together with the Tech Lead (DDD, Clean Architecture, CQRS)
• Implement asynchronous communication between services with Azure Service Bus
• Develop and publish services in Azure (App Service, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Application Insights)
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Ensure quality through unit and integration tests and code reviews
• Collaborate with the front-end and product teams in Scrum
• Support and share knowledge with less experienced developers

Требования:

• 6+ years of experience in development with C# / .NET
• Recent experience with .NET 8 or higher; familiarity with .NET 10 is a clear advantage
• Solid experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and Entity Framework Core
• Experience in microservices and event-driven architectures
• Practical experience with Azure, particularly Service Bus, Functions and App Service CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Git SQL Server (modeling and query optimization)
• Automated testing (xUnit, FluentAssertions or equivalent)
• Experience in Scrum teams
• Availability for a hybrid arrangement with 3 days per week on-site in Lisbon
