LUZA Group is seeking a data engineer/software developer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and backend services using .NET/C#. The role focuses on data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and API-driven connectivity across systems, with emphasis on SQL databases and scalable cloud platforms.

The position is primarily on-site in Portugal, with opportunities for remote work when possible and a strong collaboration ethos with cross-functional teams.

What You'll do:

• - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and integration solutions to ensure reliable data flow across systems;
• - Develop and support backend solutions using .NET / C# to enable data processing and integration services;
• - Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading;
• - Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems through APIs and other data exchange mechanisms;Work with SQL databases, ensuring data quality, performance, and scalability;
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver efficient data solutions;
• - Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-based data solutions and platforms;
• - Apply software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code quality standards.
• - Mostly on-site job;

Who You Are:

• - Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or a related technical role;
• - Solid experience with .NET / C# development;
• - Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
• - Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data transformation;
• - Experience working with APIs and system/data integrations;
• - Familiarity with cloud environments and data platforms;
• - Good understanding of software development best practices, version control systems, and testing methodologies;
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• - Good communication skills and team spirit.
