EDP is seeking an MV Dispatch Engineer for the MV Dispatch Tejo department. Responsibilities include real-time monitoring of the MV/LV network, ensuring service continuity and safety, supporting shift coordination, and coordinating with the HV Dispatch Center.

We require a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Energy specialization preferred) and up to 3 years of electrical engineering experience; candidates should be comfortable with shift work and a hybrid work model.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Energy specialization preferred.
• Up to 3 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor MV/LV network in real-time to ensure service continuity and quality.
• Ensure safety of people and assets in all procedures.
• Support shift coordination and supervision with guidance for network switching.
• Coordinate with the HV Dispatch Center on network operations.
• Analyze maintenance orders and validate asset management requests and live-line work.
• Analyze OMS data to ensure outages comply with ERSE definitions.
• Execute network studies for load transfers, optimization, loss reduction, and contingencies.
• Manage SCADA alarms and automation systems.
• Apply critical thinking to fault analysis and proactive diagnostics.
