Siemens Energy, Grid Technologies, seeks an electrical engineer focused on MV/LV transformer stations to design and specify components, perform essential electrical calculations, and ensure compliant, safe layouts for complex power distribution projects.

You will collaborate across sales, project teams and suppliers, ensuring clear technical submittals and timely clarifications in a cross-functional environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-7+ years of experience in MV distribution systems and transformer stations.
• Proficient with AutoCAD/EPLAN and electrical calculation tools like ETAP or DIgSILENT.
• Structured, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills; cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with prefabricated substations, data centers or industrial power distribution is a plus.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Italian is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Design MV/LV transformer stations (10-36 kV / 0.4-1 kV), preparing single line diagrams and protection schemes.
• Specify key components such as power transformers and MV/LV switchgear; perform load flow, short-circuit, and voltage drop calculations.
• Optimize layouts for footprint, cooling, accessibility, and safety; integrate enclosures and fire protection.
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards and local grid codes; support certification and type testing.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and suppliers; review drawings and provide technical clarifications.
