EDP is seeking a Medium & High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join their team in Portugal, with a hybrid work model and placements in Leiria, Porto or Évora. You will analyze HV/MV modification requests, define MV connection conditions, and estimate costs for HV/MV projects, collaborating with third parties and BPO teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, HV/MV power line design experience, and strong coordination and problem-solving skills to drive

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, ideally with a specialization in the Energy field.
• Experience of medium- and high-voltage power line design.
• Knowledge of the construction and execution of medium- and/or high-voltage electrical network projects.
• Understanding of electrical distribution network standards and engineering practices.
• Ability to coordinate technical activities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsibility and autonomy,
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Good problem-solving skills, management of unforeseen events, collaboration, and networking are competencies that we value.

Responsabilidades

• Analysis of HV/MV network modification requests and assessment of the legal framework for cost estimation.
• Definition of connection conditions for MV customers.
• Cost estimation of HV/MV network connection requests.
• Collection of information and preparation of documentation for project design by third parties.
• Support, review, and validation of projects developed by third parties for licensing with the DGEG.
• Collaboration with BPO teams for the design and cost estimation of works using SIT/Jump systems.
