Next Engineering is seeking a MuleSoft operations engineer to manage, monitor and improve our integration platforms from Lisbon. You will configure gateways, automate deployments with Terraform and CI/CD, and resolve incidents with ITIL-aligned processes.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of relevant experience, strong Troubleshooting skills, and ability to work across international teams in a hybrid Lisbon setting.

• Configure and maintain MuleSoft Flex Gateway / Omni Gateway environments.
• Automate deployments, upgrades and repetitive operational tasks through Terraform and CI/CD.
• Monitor platform health, performance and capacity, investigating and resolving operational issues.
• Support production incidents, releases and changes, working within defined SLA and ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with international teams to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.

• Support the operation and maintenance of MuleSoft integration platforms, ensuring stability and availability.
• Configure and maintain MuleSoft Flex Gateway / Omni Gateway environments.
• Automate deployments, upgrades and repetitive operational tasks through Terraform and CI/CD.
• Monitor platform health, performance and capacity, investigating and resolving operational issues.
• Support production incidents, releases and changes, working within defined SLA and ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with international teams to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.

Your Profile:

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub, Argo CD and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of OpenShift and cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Flex Gateway / Omni Gateway or API Management platforms.
• Understanding of API security, including OAuth/OIDC, authentication, authorization and certificates.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently in an international, cross-functional environment.
