Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Application Support professional to administer and evolve monitoring and observability platforms across our client projects. You will work with Dynatrace, PRTG, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor to implement end-to-end monitoring strategies and dashboards that reflect key metrics, SLIs, and SLOs.

• Proven experience as a Senior Application Support professional with at least 5 years in monitoring and observability.

Responsibilities

• Administer and evolve monitoring platforms (Dynatrace, PRTG, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor).
• Implement end-to-end monitoring for applications, infrastructure, services and networks.
• Develop dashboards based on metrics, KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs.
• Define alarms, thresholds, and early fault detection mechanisms.
• Perform performance, capacity, and availability analysis and RCA for critical incidents.
• Automate monitoring processes and integrations via APIs, scripts, or connectors.

Job description

What will you do?

• Administer, configure, and evolve monitoring and observability platforms, including Dynatrace, PRTG Network Monitor, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor.
• Implement end-to-end monitoring strategies for applications, infrastructure, services, and network components.
• Develop operational, executive, and technical dashboards based on relevant metrics, KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs.
• Define and optimize alarming, thresholds, and early fault detection mechanisms.
• Conduct performance, capacity, and availability analysis, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.
• Automate monitoring processes, event correlation, and reporting, developing integrations via APIs, scripts, or native connectors.
