The role is remote-facing and international, offering a high-impact opportunity to design and deploy real-time personalization solutions used by hundreds of millions of users.

You will develop real-time ranking and recommendation systems, work with data scientists and engineers, and influence product discovery and customer engagement through

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in applied machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data technologies.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade personalization, recommendation, or ranking systems.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and using results to guide model improvements.
• Experience with a major public cloud platform is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, real-time ML services powering ranking and personalization across ecommerce products.
• Enhance personalized shopping experiences with recommendation and discovery capabilities based on user behavior.
• Analyze user interactions to build models delivering relevant customer experiences.
• Experiment and AB test to measure impact on key business metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to improve personalization features.
• Communicate findings and decisions to stakeholders, translating ML concepts into actionable insights.
• Take ownership from investigation to implementation, ensuring reliability and scalability of production systems.
