InnoTech in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Mid Machine Learning Engineer to bring ML models into production and build scalable deployment workflows. You will work closely with data scientists and data engineers to implement reliable, production-ready ML solutions.

Expect to deploy, monitor, and retrain models, develop CI/CD pipelines with modern tools, and write clean Python code that is easy to maintain and scale across teams.

Qualificações

• 3+ years ML experience with Python and SQL.
• Hands-on with TF, PyTorch and Scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying ML models and building CI/CD pipelines.

Your Mission Will Be

• Bring Machine Learning models into production, ensuring reliable deployments and scalable, production-ready solutions;
• Build and maintain ML deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines, contributing to the development of MLOps practices from the ground up;
• Monitor models in production, implementing metrics and alerting while troubleshooting failures and optimizing model performance;
• Develop clean, structured, reusable, and testable Python code while contributing to model retraining and deployment automation initiatives;
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers on model deployment, data transformation, and continuous improvement of ML solutions.

You Will Need

• More than 3 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, with strong Python and SQL skills and hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn;
• Experience deploying ML solutions using Docker and/or Kubernetes and developing model-serving APIs with FastAPI or Flask;
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, combined with experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins;
• Good understanding of MLOps practices, software versioning, testing, code reviews, model lifecycle management, and at least B2-level English proficiency;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• Experience optimizing production ML models, including response times, operational efficiency, model optimization, and compression techniques;
• Knowledge of automated model retraining processes, production monitoring, alerting, and ML-specific versioning practices;
• Familiarity with Java or Scala for integration with existing systems;
• A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
