Jobtailor is seeking a senior backend engineer in Porto to develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET, building scalable microservices and REST APIs. You will implement asynchronous processing with TPL and develop integrations via Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or similar platforms.

You will work with Docker, contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and apply SOLID, design patterns, and DDD.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years of professional C# and .NET experience.
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Task Parallel Library (TPL).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Familiarity with logging, observability, and tracing tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration.
• Commitment to software quality and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Implement asynchronous and parallel processing solutions using Task Parallel Library (TPL).
• Develop integrations using messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or similar platforms.
• Work with Docker containers and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and observability best practices.
• Apply SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
