Decskill is seeking a Network Administrator to join our IT operations team in Portugal. You will manage IPAM tasks, allocate IPs, and support DNS/DHCP services while coordinating with internal teams and external providers. A solid IPAM background and 3+ years’ experience are required, with CCNA and ITIL Foundation considered a plus.

• 3+ years in Network Administration, Network Operations or IPAM.
• IPAM principles and best practices.
• Hands-on IP address allocation, subnet management, and network segmentation.
• DNS and DHCP services knowledge.
• IPAM tools experience (Infoblox/BlueCat).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex networks.
• TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, routing knowledge.
• ITIL-based support processes familiarity.
• Experience with ticketing systems and operational support processes.
• WAN routing/SD-WAN and cloud networking a plus.
• ITIL Foundation v4 certification a plus.
• CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain tech concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organization and coordination with internal teams and service providers.
• Business-fluent English mandatory.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Network Administration, Network Operations or IPAM.
• Solid understanding of IP Address Management (IPAM) principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with IP address allocation, subnet management and network segmentation.
• Good knowledge of DNS and DHCP services.
• Experience with IPAM tools, preferably Infoblox, BlueCat or equivalent solutions.
• Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex network and system interactions.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting and routing.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based support processes, including Incident, Request and Change Management.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and operational support processes.
• Knowledge of WAN routing, SD-WAN and cloud networking is a plus.
• ITIL Foundation v4 certification is a plus.
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.
• Business-fluent English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
