Job summary

Testo SE & Co. KGaA in Portugal seeks a Microsoft Security Specialist to strengthen cloud security across our Microsoft environment. The role focuses on Sentinel SIEM, Azure security, and secure integrations with PowerShell automation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Microsoft cloud tech, strong English, and a proactive, analytical mindset to work with global teams and deliver robust security controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, Azure security and MS security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Analytical, proactive and collaborative in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Sentinel for SIEM and threat detection.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents.

Role Description

As part of our commitment to strengthening cloud security across our Microsoft environment, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Microsoft Security Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team.

Microsoft Security & Compliance

• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Sentinel for SIEM and threat detection.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with security standards.
• Conduct proactive risk assessments.

Cloud Architecture & Integration

• Design secure integrations between M365, Azure services, and third-party systems.
• Support automation and scripting (PowerShell, Graph API) for security-related tasks.

Power Platform Governance (Optional)

• Ensure effective quality maintenance and improvement during product changes across the lifecycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with IT Services, CMS, and global teams to align security and compliance efforts.

Your Profile

• Educational Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in Microsoft cloud technologies with a focus on Azure Security and Microsoft Security solutions.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and SIEM operations. Solid knowledge of Azure services, security best practices, and compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Language Skills: Very good command of written and spoken English.
• Personal Attributes: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, proactiveness, adaptability, and collaboration skills in an international environment.
