Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. is seeking a Microbiology Analyst to perform analyses in the QC Microbiology lab and manage related documentation.

The role includes ensuring proper cleaning, inventory control, sample workflow coordination with third-party labs, and supporting investigations and new projects. Responsibilities also cover receiving and archiving test results, conducting analytical chemistry QC testing, and ensuring safe disposal of hazardous waste, with opportunities to contribute to SOP

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated industry (drug, food, cannabis, cosmetics) working in a lab.
• Knowledge of SOPs, GLPs, HACCP and GMPs.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others & independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all kinds of analysis at QC Microbiology lab.
• Ensure the cleaning and sanitization of the microbiology laboratory and equipments according to the approved SOP´s.
• Manage supplies and consumables inventory in Quality Control lab (include ERP management).
• Assist in managing samples workflow with third party laboratories;
• Support deviations, incidents and out of specifications/trends investigations;
• Support new projects;
• Receive, communicate, and archive test results from third party laboratories;
• Performing required analytical chemistry for quality control samples;
• Ensuring the proper disposal of all hazardous, biological and chemical waste;
• Propose corrective actions and suggestions of improvement;
• Perform other duties as assigned;
• Actively participate in draft and review of SOPs.
