Critical Manufacturing seeks a Platform Support Engineer to reinforce MES delivery across high-tech manufacturing environments in Porto/ Maia, Portugal. You will install, configure, troubleshoot and optimize MES deployments, ensuring secure, scalable operations and long-term stability.

You will bridge deployments with customer teams, drive incident prevention, and contribute to automation, observability and best practices.

Qualificações

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for containerized deployments, pod troubleshooting, logs and events.
Strong Linux knowledge including networking, volumes, services and journaling.
Hands-on VM provisioning with VMware or Hyper-V.
Excellent problem-solving with a log-oriented, methodical approach.
Strong organization, time-management and prioritization skills.
Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsabilidades

Lead deployments of MES and application environments.
Execute remote installations of MES environments and applications.
Validate pre-conditions, dependencies, and compatibility before deployment.
Ensure smooth, structured, and auditable installation flows.
Manage environment governance and access across teams and customers.
Monitor resource usage (CPU, memory, storage, cluster health) and scale as needed.
Deploy and support solutions in DMZ or restricted networks with secure configurations.
Troubleshoot complex deployment issues using logs, containers, pods, events and traces.
Collaborate with engineering, SRE and infra teams; resolve root-cause issues.
