Kenvue is seeking a Medical Affairs Specialist to join the Southern Europe Cluster (Portugal & Selected Markets). You will provide medical reviews, support scientific substantiation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory and scientific accuracy.

The role involves developing trainings, supporting launches, and maintaining medical information resources while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within pharma/biotech/OTC industry.
  • Strong scientific knowledge and the ability to communicate clinical and medical information to healthcare professionals.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide medical review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials in line with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Lead medical writing activities, including CCDS updates and clinical overviews.
  • Provide scientific and medical expertise to internal stakeholders with accuracy and compliance.
  • Support development of product claims and evidence-generation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance.
  • Respond to medical information requests in a timely, balanced manner.
  • Develop and deliver scientific trainings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support new product launches and lifecycle initiatives.

What you will do
Medical Affairs Specialist, Southern Europe Cluster (Portugal & Selected Markets)
Responsibilities
  • Provide medical review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials and activities in accordance with applicable Codes of Practice, local regulations, company policies, and other relevant requirements.
  • Lead medical writing activities, including support for Company Core Data Sheet (CCDS) updates, preparation of Clinical Overviews (COs), and other documentation required to support regulatory submissions and product lifecycle management.
  • Provide scientific and medical expertise to internal stakeholders, ensuring scientific accuracy, compliance, and alignment across all activities and communications.
  • Support the development of product claims, scientific substantiation strategies, and evidence-generation plans.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Brand Activation, Professional Marketing, Consumer Affairs, Quality, and Pharmacovigilance.
  • Support the defense of key product claims in response to competitor challenges and contribute to the review and assessment of competitor promotional activities, as appropriate.
  • Manage and respond to internal and external medical information requests in a timely, accurate, and scientifically balanced manner.
  • Develop and deliver scientific trainings and educational materials for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Medical Affairs support for new product launches, lifecycle management initiatives, and business development activities, as applicable.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Medical Affairs systems, processes, and resources, including core claims databases, training materials, and related tools.
  • Represent Medical Affairs at scientific meetings, congresses, professional events, and interactions with relevant external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer healthcare, or OTC industry.
  • Strong scientific knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate clinical and medical information to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the healthcare environment and applicable regulatory, compliance, and pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Languages
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Portuguese preferred.
Location
  • Flexible location: Lisbon Portugal, or Madrid, Spain.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
