Key Responsabilities:
- Lead the overall strategic and operational management of the shopping centre, ensuring alignment with company objectives and ownership expectations.
- Manage and develop the on-site team, including the Technical Director, Marketing Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, and other property management staff.
- Own the centre's P&L, including budget preparation, revenue optimisation, cost control, and financial reporting to senior management and ownership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and proactive lease management in coordination with the leasing team.
- Oversee technical operations, maintenance standards, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects in coordination with the Technical Director.
- Drive footfall, sales performance, and marketing strategy in coordination with the Marketing Coordinator, ensuring strong brand positioning and visitor experience.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal/regulatory requirements applicable to the asset.
- Lead ESG and sustainability initiatives at asset level, in coordination with the ESG Coordinator.
- Represent the asset and the company before local authorities, business associations, media, and the local community.
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends, adjusting positioning and strategy accordingly.
- Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior leadership and ownership.
- Manage crisis response and business continuity protocols at asset level.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in shopping centre, retail asset, or commercial real estate management, including significant team leadership experience.
- Available to travel.
- Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record managing P&L responsibility for a commercial real estate asset.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in leasing, tenant relations, and retail performance management.
- Solid understanding of technical operations, maintenance, and CAPEX project management.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across commercial, technical, marketing, and operations functions.
- Professional working proficiency in English strongly preferred.
