Advanced Accelerator Applications (Portugal), Unipessoal LDA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering and Service Team in Porto. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment, supporting contractor interventions, and ensuring GMP-compliant equipment management.

Ideal candidates have a technical/industrial apprenticeship, strong manual skills, and basic English. The position is full-time and site-based, offering opportunities to work within a global healthcare

Qualificações

• Technical/industrial apprenticeship or equivalent background.
• Analytical, technical, and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to understand drawings and schematics.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Local language plus basic English (oral and written).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain production equipment and trigger interventions proactively.
• Support interventions of external contractors on production equipment.
• Execute and track the qualification of synthesis modules and dispensing systems.
• Assist investigation and troubleshooting of production issues.
• Alternate with Site Engineering Lead for phone availability during production.
• Manage flow of spare parts, tools, and materials; keep the cyclotron bunker and technical area clean.
• Contribute to engineering projects; help create, review, and optimize procedures for production equipment management.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to be part of our Engineering and Service Team.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth continuity of maintenance activities:

• Manage autonomously the flow of spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Keep the cyclotron bunker and technical area clear and clean.

Contribute to constant improvement:

• Participate actively to engineering projects.
• Support the creation, review, and optimization of procedures for production equipment management (qualification, use, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.) in accordance with GMP and HSE standards

What you need to have:

• Technical / industrial apprenticeship (mechanician, mechatronic technician,
• electrician or similar)
• Excellent artisanal experience in the use of tools and measurement devices.
• Experience in maintenance of mechanic, mechatronic and electric components.
• Experience in working in radioactive environment and / GMP environment is
• Beneficial
• Analytical, technical, and reporting capabilities.
• Capability to understand drawings and schematics.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
• Local language and at least basic level English (oral and written)
