Bloq.it is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and refurbish lockers at our Porto warehouse. This hands‑on role requires technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and efficient stock control to redeploy units.

You will diagnose faults, perform mechanical/electrical repairs, run functional tests, manage inventory, and ensure safety procedures are followed in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Hands-on experience repairing electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment.
• Experience working with spare parts and components, and managing stock/inventory.
• Basic level proficiency in Excel and data entry.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Understanding of and commitment to warehouse health and safety processes.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize a high volume of repair work efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily mechanical and electrical repairs on lockers and components inside the warehouse, diagnosing faults and restoring units to full working condition.
• Conduct functional tests on repaired units before they are cleared for redeployment.
• Repair, replace, and connect low‑voltage and electronic components, using technical documentation to guide your work.
• Verify and control the quality of electrical installations and repairs.
• Work efficiently with spare parts and a wide range of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Manage stock and inventory efficiently: track spare parts usage, keep components organized, and flag low‑stock items to maintain repair throughput.
• Follow warehouse health and safety processes correctly at all times, and help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working environment.
• Find creative ways to solve electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems at the workbench.
• Handle software fault reports (with the support of the technical team) for units being refurbished.
• Document interventions, report results, and recommend improvements to repair and refurbishment processes.
• Prepare post‑repair reports and ensure that data is accurate.
• Support deployment readiness by loading, preparing, and organizing lockers and warehouse inventory as needed.
• Complete training sessions, including technical maintenance training and warehouse safety protocols.
• Support the Operations Manager with other ad hoc tasks as required.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician, Locker Repairs in Porto to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you will work daily inside our warehouse, repairing and refurbishing lockers and their components so they are ready for redeployment. This is a hands‑on, bench‑based role that requires technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while keeping our stock and inventory under control.

What you’ll bring to the table:
