Job summary

CTR/Hayco, a multinational manufacturing company in Portugal, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function on site. You will develop the team, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive reliability and cost control across the site.

Key focus areas include MTBF/MTTR, energy efficiency, automation initiatives and CAPEX support. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and EHS to uphold safety and standards while delivering continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Strong industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Minimum 5 years leading Maintenance teams.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and automation systems.
Experience with maintenance cost management and contractors.
Experience with CMMS/EAM systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Maintenance team with clear responsibilities and priorities.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are planned and executed.
Improve equipment reliability and availability through failure analysis.
Manage Maintenance OPEX, spare parts, external services and contractors.
Support Production and Engineering in continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
Drive automation, energy efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities.
Ensure maintenance documentation, standards and procedures are defined and followed.
Develop root cause analysis and corrective actions for major failures.
