ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is hiring a Vehicle Transport Associate to move and stage vehicles across the lot in support of auction activities. You will operate motor vehicles on the premises under supervision, ensuring safe, efficient handling and accurate inventory movement.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ with a valid driver's license, ability to drive various makes/models, and basic computer skills.

Pay Range: $16.50-$16.90 hourly

Schedule: Three 8-hour shifts and one shorter 4-hour shift, totaling approximately 28-30 hours per week. (Specific days and schedule are subject to manager discretion and operational needs.)

Role and Team

• Reporting to the Operations Manager or other designated manager, you will operate motor vehicles on the premises in support of auction activities. Your primary focus is to execute vehicle movement across the lot by transporting and staging units in designated areas under the direction of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operations: Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
• Vehicle Staging: Support efficient lot flow and ensure vehicles are positioned accurately to meet operational and sale day needs.
• Operational Support: Safely move, stage, and park various makes, models, sizes, and conditions of vehicles in designated lot areas throughout the shift.
• Efficiency: Move vehicles from the finish line to designated parking spots using alphanumeric ordering.
• Inventory Tracking: Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement.
• Maintenance: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and promptly notify managers of all driving-related incidents or potential hazards.
• Policy Adherence: Follow company procedures involving accidents, injuries, or property damage, and ensure all state or federal laws are followed.
• Other Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.
