Job summary

Syensqo SA is seeking a logistics support candidate based in Lisbon, Portugal. You will assist with shipment coordination, export/import checks, and monitor delivery performance to reduce delays and discrepancies.

The role emphasizes data analysis (OTIF, lead time, freight cost) and proposing actions to improve reliability, cost, and service level while following site safety rules. Training and wellbeing initiatives are offered.

Role and Responsibilities

We count on you to:

• Assist with shipment coordination (inbound/outbound)
• Support export/import preparation and checks, depending on site scope.
• Help monitor delivery performance and follow up on delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Collect and analyze logistics data (e.g., OTIF, lead time, freight cost, detention/demurrage, warehouse performance).
• Assist with identifying trends and propose actions to improve reliability, cost, and service level.
• Follow site rules and contribute to Syensqo’s safety culture.
• Weekly/monthlyKPI reportand performance insights
• Improved SOP / work instruction for a logistics process
• Root cause analysis on a recurring delivery issue
• Cost/service improvement proposal with quantified impact

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor degree in Business Management, International Relations, Logistics or related field
• Good communication skills, with a supporting mindset
• Problem-Solving capabilitiesHigh level of initiative

What We Offer

• The Portuguese annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €11,280.00 for applicants who have completed or are completing a Bachelor's degree and €12,480.00 for applicants who have completed or are completing a Master's degree.
