Job summary

VitalEssence Spa in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a motivated Personal Trainer for a contract position. The role focuses on one-on-one sessions, personalized workout planning, and nutrition guidance to help clients achieve their fitness goals.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. English fluency is required, Portuguese skills are a plus. Lisbon location with visa sponsorship possibilities.

Qualifications

• Certified personal trainer with at least 2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to create personalized workout plans for clients of all fitness levels.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, physiology, and nutrition.
• Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus).

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one training sessions with clients.
• Develop personalized workout plans based on goals and fitness levels.
• Provide guidance on form, technique, and nutrition.
• Motivate and encourage clients to reach their fitness goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe workout environment for clients.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other trainers to develop new programs and classes.
